“The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” Psalms 32:8
This is spoken after King David has confessed his sin. The following verse states, “Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control.” So, while we have this amazing opportunity for God to lead us, we still have to choose it, choose to be self-controlled. We all hope to be this disciplined, yet our human nature often competes for the driver’s seat. We need to seek God, listen and follow, or we may unintentionally find ourselves somewhere He never planned for us to go. God help us to trust you more!
We got a lot done this last week on the forms that Washington State is requiring for our intervention services. Whew! Still a few more to work on but we made good headway. Thanks for your prayers.
This last Saturday, we had one of our bi-annual trainings for our facilitators of ManKind, Virtue, and Family Impact. The training information was really helpful, and our brainstorming idea session was very promising. We are always looking for ways to improve.
ARMS is doing amazing work with God’s help. We would ask that you join us in asking God for a greater anointing and even more effectiveness in all the programs. Pray for the women, men and youth we serve. Pray for God to bring healing, provision, protection and change to their hearts and minds. This really is what it’s all about.
The Summer Fun Concert at the Farnsworth Estate (Spokane Valley) is August 19th, just around the corner and only $10 to attend. Pray for people to get signed up and bring their friends. Pray for perfect weather and God’s blessing on those planning it. Also, pray for a couple of sponsors to help cover the costs, so that all that is given goes directly to the victims we serve in the Inland NW area.
We are working, working, working on the Portland Banquet. We are at about 62% sponsored and 33% of the hosts we need. Please pray for God to fill all the gaps with ease. Pray for God’s provision for this event.
Pray for time, wisdom and knowledge. We are always busy at ARMS but we want to be busy doing the right things and for God to disrupt the plans of the enemy wants to cause problems, confusion or just waste our time and energy. Pray for the staff, as we continue to do the work God has called us too.
With a grateful heart,
